Skelenormous

It's not big - it's skelenormous. This freakishly huge skeleton was last seen downtown at the Franklin Halloween Festival. Wonder if he will be here again this year. We'll find out Saturday.

Headless Horseman Hay Ride

You must go through the Haunted Hall. Then you step back into the 1850's and hear the story of the headless horseman and his ride through Rippavilla Plantation. You board the hay filled wagon for a journey down the dark and scary lanes hoping that the headless horseman will not attack your wagon. --- Don't worry this hayride is fun and not too scary. Good start for children.

Fourth Avenue Church of Christ

Most of the churches downtown are small, but Fourth Avenue Church of Christ is a large church. The congregation started in 1833 with the first building constructed here in 1851. It was remodeled a couple of times and then destroyed by a tornado in 1927 and rebuilt as it is today.
