This intersection is called 5 points because of the meeting of multiple streets. Main Street shopping area is to the right. In a nut shell, here's how it goes - Columbia Avenue becomes Main Street then Franklin Road , Lewisburg Pike becomes 5th Avenue and then Hillsboro Road. These roads also change names once or twice once you get into Nashville. Oh and the roads have numbers too. The city and road plannners just like to confuse us.
