Okay, I know not a great picture, but a fun thing to do on a weekend. The Hi-way 50 Drive In has been open since 1946 and shows two back-to-back movies on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. It is about 45 minutes from Franklin. You can even bring your own food and pets, and its cheaper than one movie at the regular theater.

Oh boy, that takes me back. We were regulars at the drive-in theaters!
ReplyDeleteThere is one in Ocala but I'm not sure if it is still open. I think it fell into disrepair and they shut it down.
They were great fun. You don't see many any more.
We were just talking about going to drive-ins when we were teenagers at work this week. Fun shot, and a double feature!
