Winstead Hill
This is Winstead Hill which is named after Samuel Winstead. He is one of the earliest residents to the area. However, it is best known as a command post for the confederate army during the Civil War. The army moved into the area from the south and could watch the battle of Franklin from the top of the hill at 200 feet.
