Kettle Corn
Have you ever had this kettle corn? It is mostly sold at festivals where it is cooked up hot and fresh in a big copper pot. They make popcorn and coat it with a sugar syrup and salt. It is the perfect combination of salty and sweet.

Halloween Express
If you're looking for a last minute costume, check the giant orange pumpkin tent in the parking lot of the mall. They set up every year and have every costume imaginable.

Skelenormous
It's not big - it's skelenormous. This freakishly huge skeleton was last seen downtown at the Franklin Halloween Festival. Wonder if he will be here again this year. We'll find out Saturday.

Headless Horseman Hay Ride
You must go through the Haunted Hall. Then you step back into the 1850's and hear the story of the headless horseman and his ride through Rippavilla Plantation. You board the hay filled wagon for a journey down the dark and scary lanes hoping that the headless horseman will not attack your wagon. --- Don't worry this hayride is fun and not too scary. Good start for children.

It's Halloween Time
It's Halloween time. We have already made the annual trip to Party City to pick out my kid's costumes. They come in and look at the wall of choices and take forever to decide. We have several of these costumes already, but as they get older these aren't quite scary enough. They found one, of course, but I think we are coming to the end of these costume options and will have to start combining the costumes to come up with something different.
