These docents are in traditional 1800's dress. This is at the oldest home on this historic tour built in the early 1800's. The home is named Meeting of the Waters because it located at the joining of the Big Harpeth and West Harpeth River that runs through Franklin.

Carnton Reenactors

Civil War reenactors are getting ready for drills at Carnton Plantation.

Miley Cyrus

Only in Franklin can Miley Cyrus show up at a free open air concert. It was at a benefit concert last summer for the son of Jeffery Steele (seen in the photo on left) who had died. Jeffery is a songwriter in Nashville. They set up at the skate park. About an hour into the concert Miley's dad showed up and sang. It was rumored that Miley was coming too, so when she showed up kids came from everywhere!

Prom Night

It looks like Prom Night in Franklin. I caught these couples going into PF Changs for dinner. I have heard that prom now costs between $600 to $800 total. This includes the tux, dinner, cost of prom, flowers, and a limo. I guess a limo for your group has become standard.
